Aishat (Isis) is a Universal Goddess. She occupies a place in the sky near the
Sirius Star. She holds a place in the ennead of Thebes as a daughter of Nout
and Geb, wife of Osiris, and sister of Nephtys and Seth. She has the role of
protectress. She guards the four corners of the tombs, pyramids, and coffins
with Nephtys, Neith, and Serket. Her protective role is very important, for she
is the one that protects the dead. She is often represented as a mother nursing
her child, giving her the image of a faithful wife and devoted mother. Isis is
especially respected for her magic and enormous powers. These are the
characteristics Isis gives to people born under her sign.
